Peterborough Festival of Antiques
The twice-yearly event which runs tomorrow and Saturday is now in its eighth year, and has become an essential diary date for those interested in antiques.
The manager of the event Kris Hart said: “With more than 1,700 stands drawn from all over the United Kingdom and Europe, there is guaranteed to be something to suit everyone’s tastes and pockets.”
The array of antiques and collectibles for sale will be
displayed across three permanent buildings, marquees and market stalls and outdoor pitches. The main area will feature jewellery, china, stamps, militaria, linen and toys.
A second building will include furniture, fine art and larger pieces.
The event is open from 10am until 4.30pm tomorrow, and from 9am to 4.30pm on Saturday. Admission for adults costs £4 and £3 for senior citizens. There will be a courtesy bus running from Peterborough Railway Station to the showground from 9.30am.
