David Dickinson heads to Bridgnorth

TV cameras will be rolling in Bridgnorth tomorrow when antiques expert David Dickinson visits the town to film his new show.
Student favourite “the Duke” will be at the Nock Deighton salerooms to oversee an auction for the ITV programme, Dickinson’s Real Deal.
In the show, members of the public take antiques to a panel of experts who then offer them a price or the option of selling them at auction.
The auction tomorrow will feature items brought to an event at Wolverhampton’s Wulfrun Hall on February 10.
Auctioneer at Nock Deighton, Mark Stafford-Lovatt, said: “He is a lot more down to earth than he seems on TV. He is a grand chap and we got on well when we met at Wolverhampton. It is our monthly antique sale tomorrow and the items for sale in the show are mainly ceramics.”
The auction will start at midday at the salerooms in Tasley, Bridgnorth.
